I founded Key Up Education in 2017 as a way to develop experiences for students that cannot be replicated in the classroom. Our events serve as a way to extend key concepts through activities that target specific standards being address by teachers. Any employee, from our partnering companies that participates as a host during our field trips, is trained on the standards being address, and how to adjust their instruction to move students as far up as cognitively possible, (based on Bloom's Revised Taxonomy). We are also very blessed that we have found a wealth of companies willing to support our efforts. We are looking to reduce the planning time teachers must invest in lesson development and execution, and increase the possibility of teachers finding a little bit of "me time."
